Data Labelling Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Labelling Engineer to support data classification and taxonomy approaches in alignment with business requirements. This role involves collaborating closely with the data team to ensure accurate processing and identification of data samples across various storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining data classification standards and taxonomy methods, while gaining a deep understanding of business needs.
• Analyze, identify, and label diverse data samples stored, ensuring precision and high recall rates.
• Collaborate with the R&D department to enhance algorithm recognition and machine learning capabilities by examining instances of incorrect algorithm-recommended labels, proposing annotation improvements, and engaging in discussions concerning algorithm model enhancements.
• Investigate business line-specific data samples to refine classification standards and improve the sample database quality.
• Optimize data annotation workflows, streamline label sampling and review processes to boost manual annotation efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to the functional design optimizations of the annotation platform.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a data analyst or database administrator, with familiarity across various stored data sample types.
• Strong communication, analytical, and reasoning capabilities, with the ability to quickly grasp business contexts and categorize samples based on business attributes.
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive work meticulously with minimal errors.
• Interest and foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
