Role Overview

We are actively recruiting a Data Labeling Manager to lead an expanding team of data annotation experts engaged in critical AI projects involving text, video, and overhead imagery analysis. This position suits candidates experienced in data labeling operations, team leadership, and process management within dynamic, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of Data Labeling Specialists to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to sustain organizational growth.
• Develop and scale a high-performing annotation team maintaining strong productivity and quality.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics, quality controls, and productivity indicators.
• Guarantee accuracy and consistency across labeled datasets including images, videos, and textual data.
• Exercise informed judgment in ambiguous annotation scenarios to uphold consistency in workflows.
• Engage in regular communication with leadership and technical teams to report progress, risks, staffing demands, and suggest workflow enhancements.
• Contribute to refining annotation standards and improving operational efficiency.
• Foster team expertise in image analysis, annotation techniques, and best practices in data labeling.
• Ensure reliable delivery of mission-critical datasets powering advanced AI and machine learning systems.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work onsite at the Ranchi, Jharkhand facility.
• Possess a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in data labeling, annotation, imagery or content operations, data analysis, or related sectors.
• Proven background in team management with direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience in data annotation required; familiarity with video, image, and text labeling is highly valued.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including Excel, Word, and Sheets.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills; capable of managing multiple teams and priorities.
• Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under tight timelines.
• Experience establishing and enhancing operational processes and quality standards within fast-moving settings.
