Role Overview - Data Governance Consultant

• Develop and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, operating models, including roles and responsibilities.
• Design and deploy data governance workflow processes aligned with organizational strategy.
• Lead requirement gathering, business analysis, and data architecture efforts tied to governance.
• Engage in data maturity assessments and gap analyses to measure current states and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment of data standards and models with overall enterprise architecture.
• Define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and processes related to data governance and data quality.
• Build strong relationships with business users and deliver business-impact-driven analysis to stakeholders.
• Assist in establishing and operating Data Offices to support governance initiatives.
• Support change management practices and maturity assessments through project lifecycles.
• Contribute actively to delivering data governance projects aligning with standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
• Relevant certifications such as DAMA, Informatica, or Collibra preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in data governance or related areas.

Additional Information

Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages is highly recommended.
