- Handle structured data formats such as 834 files, CSV files, and API-based exchanges using REST, HTTP, and web services.
- Respond to questions from internal teams and outside partners about data connections and follow through until issues are resolved.
- Track system issues, escalate or report problems when needed, and contribute ideas to improve data exchange operations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Data, or a similar field is preferred, although equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Hands-on experience with EDI data formats such as 834, CSV, and related structured data transformation work.
- Working knowledge of API integrations and system-to-system exchanges, including REST, HTTP, and web APIs.
- Exposure to benefit administration or HR systems such as Workday, ADP, Employee Navigator, or Paylocity is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability, with a practical approach to identifying and closing workflow gaps.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort managing several priorities at once in a deadline-driven, fast-moving environment.
- Background in insurance or benefits administration environments is a plus.
