Job description

Role Overview

SIMA - Salon des Industries Musicales d'Afrique francophone is seeking a careful and dependable Data Entry Analyst at entry/junior level. This position is suited to someone who enjoys working with information, keeping records accurate, and helping business operations run smoothly in a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

  • Input new data, refresh existing records, and keep company systems and databases up to date.
  • Check information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before it is processed.
  • Identify and fix duplicate records, missing details, and other data issues.
  • Prepare routine reports and provide support for basic data analysis when required.
  • Maintain digital records in an organized and secure way while following company guidelines.
  • Work with different teams to make sure data is handled accurately and on time.
  • Help improve data quality and support process improvements.
  • Record data entry steps and keep clear documentation of completed work.

Requirements

  • Entry-level or junior profile, with 0–3+ years of experience, including internships.
  • Background in data entry, administrative support, data handling, or a similar role.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and related data tools.
  • Fast and accurate typing, with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of databases and data validation methods.
  • Good organization, time management, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a hybrid environment.
  • Strong problem-solving approach and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Must be located in the United States, authorized to work full-time, and able to travel to the assigned office when needed.

Additional Information
