Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead our team in building and maintaining robust data solutions. You will guide the design, development, testing, and deployment of extensive data pipelines using ETL technologies such as SQL, and collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams to convert business needs into efficient technical implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of data engineers to build scalable data pipelines utilizing ETL tools.
- Work with various functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs.
- Develop and sustain complex data models, algorithms, and databases to support analytics and business intelligence efforts.
- Oversee project execution to ensure delivery meets quality standards, timelines, and resource management goals.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience of 9 to 15 years in data engineering with strong command over ETL technologies, particularly SQL.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities managing teams or handling multiple projects concurrently.
