Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for constructing pipelines and infrastructure that support analytics, machine learning initiatives, and product features. This position involves designing systems that ensure reliable, large-scale data movement and usability for dependent teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, build, and sustain ETL/ELT pipelines to transfer data into the warehouse environment.
• Design and document datasets in a way that downstream teams can confidently rely on them.
• Oversee the maintenance of the data warehouse and orchestrate necessary tooling.
• Collaborate closely with analytics and machine learning teams to address data requirements.
• Continuously monitor the health of data pipelines and resolve any production incidents.
• Enhance data quality, lineage tracking, and governance protocols progressively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of three years experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
• Experience with modern data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with orchestration technologies including Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or dbt.
• Knowledge of cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, dimensional design methodologies, and performance optimization techniques.
