Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines and architectures supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will integrate diverse data sources while ensuring consistency, reliability, and maintaining high data quality.

Key Duties

• Create and manage ETL processes to handle both structured and unstructured data effectively.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other key stakeholders to determine data needs and enhance data flow.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to data systems, ensuring they remain performant, secure, and efficient.
• Maintain detailed documentation regarding data workflows, system configurations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL, Python, and using data pipeline development frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing principles and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities combined with excellent communication skills.
