Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with three to six years of demonstrated expertise in data migration, analysis, and transformation projects. The successful candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and project personnel to ensure smooth data migration while preserving high standards of data quality, integrity, and governance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis and profiling of data from both source and destination systems.
• Create detailed source-to-target mapping documentation as well as transformation rules.
• Utilize SQL extensively to perform data validation, analysis, reconciliation, and issue investigation.
• Provide support during migration phases including testing, system cutovers, and resolving any arising issues.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards to monitor migration progress and assess data quality indicators.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather business requirements and effectively communicate analytical findings.
• Maintain accurate documentation, track issue logs, and manage governance-related artifacts.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Three to six years of experience in data migration or analysis projects.
• Proficient use of SQL for data examination and reconciliation.
• Strong skills in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or other comparable Microsoft data platforms.
• Proven capability in data profiling, mapping, and quality assessment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Certifications in data analysis or business analysis.
• Understanding of data governance principles and privacy requirements.
