Data Analyst - Mandarin Speaker

About the Role

Global Wave Group is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Data Analyst based in Albany, Auckland. This role involves organizing, cleaning, and transforming datasets sourced from various systems to support effective data utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and prepare data by cleaning, transforming, and structuring information from multiple sources.
• Ensure data integrity through validation checks, quality assurance, and identifying errors.
• Create and update interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports leveraging tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Perform fundamental statistical analyses to discover trends and insights within datasets.
• Support the preparation of insightful presentations and reports for both internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues on ongoing projects and respond to various ad-hoc data requests.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related fields; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong expertise in Excel and a solid understanding of SQL querying.
• Experience or familiarity with programming and visualization tools such as Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with strong teamwork abilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous internship or project exposure in data analysis tasks.
• Experience working in corporate or business environments.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Awareness of best practices concerning data privacy and security.

Work schedule is from 1:00 PM through 9:30 PM.
