About the Role
Gateworth Group is partnering with an education provider in Dubai to recruit a Data Analyst for their IT department. This position suits an analytical and curious individual who can transform complex data into actionable insights that enhance decision-making, support learning outcomes, and guide strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data systems that gather appropriate and timely information, ensuring data accuracy, ethical standards, and seamless integration across research and pilot initiatives.
- Examine diverse datasets relating to learner growth and project results to identify trends that inform leadership about successes and areas requiring change.
- Create clear, accessible narratives from raw data using dashboards, visualizations, and reports designed for educators, families, and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with researchers, educators, and project teams to integrate data into program planning, evaluation, and innovation cycles.
- Support evaluation of new programs by establishing baseline metrics, monitoring progress, and delivering evidence-based recommendations.
- Continuously improve analytical tools, methodologies, and processes to align with contemporary data practices and new insights.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in data analysis, preferably within education, research, social impact, or innovation-centered environments.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as statistical programming languages, spreadsheet modeling, or research software.
- Experience in creating dashboards or visual data representations using current visualization tools.
- Knowledge of ethical data management practices including obtaining consent, ensuring privacy, and safeguarding information.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings into simple, compelling insights for audiences without technical backgrounds.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and dynamic datasets.
- Possession of a degree in a data-centric or research-related discipline, such as Data Science, Statistics, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
