Layah ai is an AI-driven platform designed to assist educators in rapidly producing superior teaching materials such as lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, assessments, and comprehensive teaching packs. It supports multiple curricula, including CBSE, Cambridge, IB, British, American, and UAE standards. The platform aims to simplify lesson planning to allow teachers more time to focus on instructing and supporting students. Its mission is to furnish educators with effective and user-friendly tools that enhance classroom engagement and learning results.
Role Overview
The Data Analyst position at Layah ai is a full-time remote role centered on gathering, cleansing, and examining data sourced from product usage, educator feedback, and platform performance. This analysis will generate insights that can inform product decisions and optimizations. The analyst will develop dashboards and reports, collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams, and refine data models. They will also track key performance indicators and help continuously enhance the platform for both educators and learners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and discern patterns.
- A solid grasp of statistics for experiment design, hypothesis testing, and ensuring data validity.
- Effective communication abilities for presenting results to audiences with diverse technical backgrounds.
- Experience in data modeling to organize data for reporting, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents, and proficiency in SQL or similar query languages.
- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Capability to work cooperatively within a diverse team, with high attention to detail and a dedication to ongoing enhancements.
- Interest in educational technology and understanding of school curricula or teaching settings is beneficial.
