Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with 2 to 5 years of experience (flexible for strong candidates) to support data-driven decision making across our e-commerce operations. This role collaborates closely with teams across sales, marketing, supply chain, and category management to analyze performance metrics, uncover growth prospects, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate sales figures, website traffic, conversion rates, pricing strategies, and profitability on both marketplaces and direct-to-consumer platforms.
- Monitor critical KPIs including GMV, ROAS, CAC, AOV, conversion rate, inventory turnover, and fill rates.
- Detect market trends, irregularities, and potential areas for growth through thorough data analysis.
- Assess the effectiveness of paid advertising campaigns across channels such as Amazon Ads, Meta, and Google.
- Attribute revenue to different sales channels and marketing campaigns accurately.
- Develop and maintain dashboards illustrating campaign return on investment, keyword effectiveness, and funnel metrics.
- Oversee marketplace operations by monitoring catalog health, buy box percentages, stock levels, returns, and cancellations.
- Analyze performance data at vendor, ASIN, and SKU levels.
- Support demand forecasting efforts and assist with inventory planning.
- Create and automate regular dashboards and management information system (MIS) reports for leadership consumption.
- Transform complex datasets into actionable business insights rather than mere numbers.
- Manage large volumes of data obtained from marketplaces, internal databases, and web-scraped sources ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation.
Technical and Domain Expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced use of pivot tables and Power Query.
- Experience with e-commerce or marketplace analytics.
- Knowledge of platforms like Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Myntra, or direct-to-consumer analytics is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with marketing metrics and attribution methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings to teams without technical backgrounds.
- Demonstrates ownership and meticulous attention to detail throughout projects.
