Dance Instructor

About the Role

Auckland Ballet Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dependable dance instructors to expand our dedicated teaching team in Auckland. We have openings for instructors specializing in Classical Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Dance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver dance lessons across the designated styles: Classical Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Dance
• Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
• Maintain effective communication with students and their parents
• Organize classes efficiently and responsibly

Candidate Profile

• Possess professional dance education and relevant teaching experience
• Enjoy working with children and possess strong interpersonal communication skills
• Exhibit patience, reliability, and strong organizational skills
• Hold valid New Zealand work visa or eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Holding recognized teaching certifications such as RAD, NZAMD, PBT is advantageous but not mandatory

Additional Information

Teaching positions may be based at Auckland studios located in Rosedale, Burswood, and Western Springs. The roles are part-time or casual, with potential for weekly recurring classes.
