Dairy Frozen Associate

Position Overview

Join Walmart Canada as a Dairy/Frozen Associate and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will support inventory stocking and sales activities to ensure fresh products are consistently available and the department is customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Dairy/Frozen area neat, organized, and correctly zoned to ensure customer readiness at all times.
• Perform regular product rotation and monitor for expired merchandise to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure all products are accurately signed and priced, following company protocols for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, labeling, and pricing.
• Comply with cold chain and food safety procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer calibrations, proper handling, product rotation based on sell-by and expiration dates, sanitation, and cleaning.
• Maintain merchandising features to support promotional efforts and department standards.
• Create a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by promptly removing debris and spills, adhering to all health and safety policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
• Manage high volume workloads efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, and plan to sustain energy and focus.
• Handle physical demands including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, while consistently performing repetitive tasks like stocking and zoning with attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.10.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
