Key Responsibilities

This position involves conducting scheduled road inspections, performing routine maintenance tasks, and responding to emergency situations to maintain road safety and accessibility. Responsibilities include repairing pavements, maintaining drainage systems, managing vegetation control, and clearing roadway blockages. All tasks must be carried out safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. The role requires independent work, sound decision-making on-site, and participation in an after-hours on-call roster.

Required Skills and Experience

• Possession of a current Class 2 Driver Licence
• Experience in road maintenance, civil construction, or similar outdoor operational roles is preferred
• Strong dedication to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Ability to work autonomously and make effective decisions in the field
• Good communication and reporting capabilities
• Willingness to join an after-hours callout rotation
