Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Overview

As a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients’ digital environments by monitoring threats, providing actionable intelligence, educating users, and responding decisively to incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive security services.
• Continuously monitor security events and alerts to detect potential threats.
• Conduct thorough triage, investigation, and analysis of security alerts to evaluate their severity and impact.
• Escalate incidents when necessary and perform threat scope assessments to gauge exposure levels.
• Carry out impact analysis, document results meticulously, and integrate threat intelligence to generate actionable insights.
• Create, review, and summarize reports for customers to ensure both accuracy and clarity.
• Respond swiftly to threats and ensure correct remediation procedures are implemented and recorded.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to guarantee prompt response and continuous service delivery during critical security events.
• Keep precise documentation of all security monitoring and incident response activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven expertise in threat detection techniques.
• Experience handling incident response effectively.
• Strong familiarity with threat intelligence gathering and analysis.
• Competent reporting abilities with an emphasis on clarity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of remediation strategies and methodologies.
• Operational readiness to engage promptly and efficiently.
• High-level documentation skills for all security-related operations.
