About the Role

Join EY Singapore as a Cybersecurity Consultant where you will be part of a global network providing expert cybersecurity services. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse client teams delivering independent assessments and implementing cyber solutions, helping organizations enhance their resilience against complex cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments during security-by-design stages, ensuring that security requirements are accurately defined, designed, and implemented throughout system lifecycles in alignment with established security principles and ICT security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Engage in planning and reviewing ICT security tests, audits, and assessments to guarantee effective security assurance.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities related to emerging technologies such as 5G, Quantum Computing, IoT, and AI; develop and coordinate risk mitigation strategies accordingly.
• Contribute to the design, development, and support of innovative security tools and technologies; test their efficiency in practical situations and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate them into existing processes.
• Provide expertise in security design, architecture, and standards; review current architectures and suggest enhancements to strengthen security policies and controls.
• Review technical deliverables to verify compliance with cybersecurity requirements and organizational policies.
• Advise stakeholders on remediation strategies for security risks and promote understanding of recommended mitigation practices.
• Ensure secure lifecycle management in accordance with assessed security risks, requirements, and prevailing ICT policies and standards.
• Identify security design gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support scoping and review of security audits, tests, and compliance efforts to achieve security goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely submission of cybersecurity reports such as scorecards and aid in promoting cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years’ cybersecurity experience, preferably within public sector environments.
• Proven experience managing security policies, procedures, and guidelines effectively.
• Familiarity with Singapore Government cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Experience performing risk assessments using established methodologies.
• Background managing or supporting security audits and compliance reviews.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or equivalent.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
