Job description
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Lead with over 8 years of professional experience, fluent in Arabic, who possesses strong expertise in ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, SIEM technologies, and email security measures. The role demands leading the organization's security initiatives encompassing governance, operations, and compliance.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.
- Perform frequent risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and identify security gaps to maintain robust defenses.
- Ensure adherence to local regulatory mandates and internal policy requirements.
- Manage security evaluations related to third-party and vendor engagements.
- Supervise daily security operations covering EDR, DLP, SIEM, email security, firewall, and network access control systems.
- Promptly monitor, investigate, and resolve security incidents with root cause analysis and thorough post-incident documentation.
- Coordinate collaborative efforts with SOC, MSSP vendors, and internal IT resources to enhance security posture.
- Implement stringent access and identity management practices, enforce least privilege principles and regularly audit user rights and privileged account access.
- Guarantee implementation of data protection measures, including encryption, secure backups, and protected storage environments.
- Maintain and prepare detailed security documentation, risk registries, incident reports, and support audits and compliance reviews.
- Lead cybersecurity awareness initiatives and simulate phishing exercises to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Serve as the key contact for security matters within business units and mentor IT teams on secure system design and deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CISM, OSCP, or CISSP are mandatory.
