Cyber Security Engineer

Job Overview

The DigitalX is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in Dubai. This role demands extensive hands-on experience in information security, aligned with governmental or regulated industry standards.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Offer 4 to 8 years of practical experience in the information security field, preferably within government or heavily regulated sectors.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, expertise in Active Directory management, and proficiency in securing Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Exhibit experience working with cloud security platforms including Azure and AWS.
• Operate and manage security tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), vulnerability management systems, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools.
• Understand and apply security standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and national Information Assurance (IA) standards.
