Job description

Role Overview

The Cyber Sales Specialist position at AC3 is part of the expanding Cyber Security Practice, focusing on growing the Professional and Managed Services portfolio. This role is designed to identify new cyber-related business opportunities, develop practical customer solutions, and convert qualified opportunities into consistent revenue streams. Operating as an individual contributor, the specialist collaborates closely with the Head of Cyber Security, cyber team members, account teams, and partners to secure new business in cyber advisory, project-based professional services, and managed security services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline for Professional Services and Managed Services within the cyber domain.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Cyber Security to target key accounts, prioritize opportunities, and formulate strategic territory plans.
  • Lead customer and prospect discovery sessions to understand cyber risks, regulatory requirements, operational challenges, and purchasing criteria.
  • Craft impactful proposals, statements of work, and managed service offers alongside AC3 subject matter experts and delivery teams.
  • Coordinate among sales, pre-sales, delivery, legal, and finance stakeholders to advance deals and resolve obstacles.
  • Demonstrate AC3’s cyber capabilities, unique differentiators, and service outcomes to both prospects and existing clients.
  • Ensure accurate management of CRM data, sales forecasts, next steps, closing plans, and stakeholder mappings.
  • Provide support for tender/RFP responses and partner-driven campaigns where cyber expertise is essential.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven background in B2B sales, business development, or specialized sales roles within IT, cyber security, cloud computing, or managed services sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate, advance, and close new business opportunities successfully.
  • Experience collaborating with technical subject matter experts to develop solutions, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Comfort engaging with executive, technical, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong discipline regarding pipeline management, forecasting, CRM upkeep, and deal governance.
  • Consultative selling proficiency, capable of translating customer cyber risks and business drivers into practical AC3 cyber solutions.
  • Commercial insight along with negotiation and proposal writing expertise.
  • Ability to work closely with various teams including the Head of Cyber Security, cyber consultants, delivery teams, and account managers.
  • Proven capacity for relationship-building with customers, vendors, and internal colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and organized with strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, confident in presenting AC3’s cyber security capabilities.
  • High attention to detail in CRM management, sales forecasting, pricing accuracy, and documentation handovers.
