Role Overview

As a Cutter at TungLok Teahouse, you will be responsible for preparing and precisely cutting a variety of ingredients including meats, seafood, and vegetables. Ensuring uniformity in the size and shape of these ingredients is vital for consistent cooking results and appealing presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients accurately.
• Maintain uniformity in ingredient size and shape to guarantee even cooking and proper display.
• Manage proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients in compliance with food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with chefs to satisfy preparation demands during service hours.
• Keep the preparation area, tools, and equipment clean and hygienic at all times.
• Adhere strictly to kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide assistance in receiving and inspecting incoming ingredient shipments as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements

• Prior relevant experience in a comparable role is essential.
• Proficient knife skills along with knowledge of diverse cutting methods.
• Comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willingness and ability to work split shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
