About the Role

The international company OLX in Kazakhstan invites applicants for the Moderator Specialist position. If you're goal-oriented, eager to assist others, and eager to grow, this is your chance! We foster a comfortable environment aiming for long-term team member retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, approve, or reject service advertisements according to platform rules.
• Participate in optimizing and updating moderation category instructions.
• Maintain and update knowledge bases and other informational resources.
• Carry out verbal and written tasks assigned by supervisors within job duties.
• Adhere to work rules and discipline outlined in Confluence.
• Provide timely and clear feedback across all communication channels.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and engage in other interesting tasks.

Candidate Expectations

• Minimum one year of work experience; moderation experience is a plus.
• Quick adaptability to different systems.
• Basic understanding of the Kazakh language.
• Strong attention to detail, persistence, capability to handle large data volumes, and draw conclusions.
• Experience working with admin panels or similar systems.
• Drive to dig deep into issues and deliver results.
• Independence, initiative, and accountability in work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional and personal maturity.
• Willingness and adaptability to continuous learning.
• Readiness to work at a fast pace and follow shift schedules.
• Proficient written and spoken communication.
• Comfortable using PCs and familiar with MS Office and Google productivity tools.
• English language proficiency at least at pre-intermediate level.
• Basic understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Familiarity with data analysis and analytics principles.
• Knowledge of scripts and models operation.
• Understanding of internet resource products, e-commerce business specifics; experience with free classifieds platforms is advantageous.
