Role Overview
As a Customer Supply Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the supply chain to ensure smooth procurement, timely delivery, and effective collaboration across functions. Your leadership will drive process improvements and contribute significantly to the organization's operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and inspire a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and excellent work environment.
- Formulate and execute strategic supply chain plans aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to secure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Track supply chain metrics, pinpoint improvement areas, and implement process efficiencies.
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to streamline supply chain activities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards, maintaining safety and security within the supply chain.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to promote supply chain excellence.
- Keep informed of industry trends and technological advancements to foster supply chain innovation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or similar fields.
- Minimum of six years in supply chain management demonstrating proven accomplishments.
- Strong leadership qualities and experience managing and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in supply chain management or related discipline.
- Experience working in a dynamic, multinational supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain management systems including ERP and data analytics tools.
- Professional certification like CSCP or CPIM is advantageous.
