About the Role
Join our busy Auckland Airport counter team and be the friendly face assisting travelers with their car rental needs. This full-time position involves welcoming customers, helping with bookings, promoting services, and ensuring a smooth rental experience. You will also inspect vehicles for damages and cleanliness to maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer rental requirements through attentive listening.
- Recommend suitable add-ons and services to customers.
- Clearly communicate rental procedures and policies.
- Accurately complete rental transactions and booking processes efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Working Hours and Environment
The role operates on a rotating roster seven days a week, including early mornings starting at 6:30 am, afternoons, nights up to 2 am, weekends, and public holidays as necessary. You will be part of a supportive and friendly culture working at a large international company with opportunities for internal growth.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a valid, full, clean class 1 driver’s licence.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or similar fields.
- Capacity to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable learning to use multiple computer systems and handheld devices; training will be provided.
- Ability to comply with company standards and follow set procedures.
