Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers upon arrival
• Operate the cash register and handle cashier duties
• Recommend products to customers to enhance their shopping experience
• Occasionally participate in food service operations
• Perform various roles in and around the store to maintain store standards
• Ensure consistent and reliable onsite attendance
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily objectives

• Exceptional skills in product sales and customer service
• Strong communication abilities coupled with friendliness and approachability
• Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace while maintaining enthusiasm

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in retail or customer service roles
• Experience as a sales associate or cashier
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent certification
• Desire and motivation to pursue career advancement
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Physical Requirements

• Capacity to stand or walk for up to eight hours continuously
• Able to lift or carry up to 30 pounds overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift
• Occasional lifting or carrying up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Ability to push or pull with an arm force of up to 20 pounds
• Capability to bend and twist at the waist for up to an hour during a shift
• Manual dexterity required for reaching, grasping, and coordinating hand activities, including using a ladder for materials or signage management

Compensation

Starting pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
