Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will contribute to the welcoming and fresh shopping atmosphere that Farm Boy is renowned for. Your role includes delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the attractive appearance of your department. Attention to detail and teamwork are key as you ensure product displays are impeccable and customers receive assistance throughout their visit.

• Providing warm, confident, and engaging customer service aligned with Farm Boy’s promise to deliver the best fresh shopping experience.
• Greeting customers and assisting them by applying Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing knowledge and enthusiasm about our products.
• Packaging, stocking, and rotating merchandise on counters and shelves to keep displays pristine and signage accurate.
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization in work and storage areas through housekeeping tasks like sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Adhering strictly to corporate policies and procedures with a strong emphasis on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and correct equipment usage.
• Performing required opening and closing duties and supporting fellow team members as necessary.
• Assisting the team with additional tasks periodically.

Qualifications

• A sincere passion for delivering engaging and superior customer service.
• Retail experience is beneficial; alternative combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Ability to work autonomously while focusing on detail, quality results, and cleanliness standards.
• A team-oriented mindset complemented by strong communication and organizational skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment involving multiple deadlines, extended standing periods, heavy lifting, and exposure to cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; French proficiency is an advantage.
