Job description
Position Summary
We are looking for detail-focused and motivated pharmacy professionals to join our expanding healthcare operations team. This role involves assisting with prescription processing workflows, verifying pharmacy-related data for accuracy and completeness, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support prescription handling and pharmacy workflow activities as per defined internal procedures.
- Review prescription information thoroughly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Enter medication orders accurately and maintain precise records within operational systems.
- Coordinate with various teams such as data entry, billing, adjudication, and fulfillment to manage workflows efficiently.
- Identify and report discrepancies or missing information based on established protocols.
- Maintain documentation and operational records consistent with company standards and SOPs.
- Help maintain medication databases and update operational process documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, operational guidelines, and compliance regulations.
- Achieve specified productivity, accuracy, and turnaround metrics.
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare support environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in pharmacy or healthcare operations.
- Strong knowledge of medications, dosage forms, pharmacy terminology, and prescription workflows.
- Familiarity with U.S. medications, SIG codes, and healthcare processes is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and computer-based systems used in operations.
- Willingness to work night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours.
- Strong organizational, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supporting U.S. healthcare or pharmacy operations.
- Knowledge of healthcare process management or pharmacy workflow systems.
- Background in healthcare support services, prescription processing, or medical billing is advantageous.
