Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative based in Calgary, AB, working on-site from our office. You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and play an essential role in ensuring every order is processed smoothly and customers receive excellent service throughout their experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact point for customers regarding order status, product availability, and delivery scheduling.
- Promptly and professionally respond to customer questions and resolve any concerns.
- Accurately enter orders, manage order tracking, and handle appointment bookings and confirmations.
- Prepare and process credit notes and invoices efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, warehousing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, resolving any issues that arise.
- Manage and monitor inventory for chain accounts, liaising between corporate chains and buyers.
- Maintain sales order master files, customer databases, and purchase order records.
- Support general office tasks including reception duties, filing, and scanning.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and preferably 1-2 years of experience in customer service. Experience in the food and beverage sector is a strong advantage. Precision in data entry and excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, are critical.
Additional valued skills include:
- Knowledge of major chain retail accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to effectively manage tight deadlines.
- A committed work ethic paired with a positive, team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and Sage X3 software.
A customer-focused mindset, meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure while seeking assistance as necessary are essential personal traits. Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive annual base salary between $50,000 and $55,000. Benefits include:
