About the Role
Join our team in scenic Tauranga as a Rental Operations Agent, where you’ll contribute to both customer-facing and behind-the-scenes operations. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, split into five 8-hour shifts that may include weekends, within working hours of 6am to 9pm at the airport location.
As part of your duties, you'll engage with customers at the counter, promote products and services, manage rental transactions, contracts, and bookings. Additionally, you will perform vehicle inspections, identify damages and maintenance needs, handle driving and parking tasks, and maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out using the wash bay facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers by processing rental agreements and transactions.
- Promote company products and additional services to customers.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to detect any damage or maintenance issues.
- Drive and park rental cars appropriately at the airport location.
- Clean vehicles both internally and externally to ensure readiness for customers.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid, full, clean Class 1 driver's license.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service environments is preferred.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable with learning and utilizing various computer systems related to rental information (training provided).
- Capability to follow established procedures and company policies.
