Role Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Agent to serve as the initial professional contact point for visitors and customers at our Darwin facility. This role involves both proactive and reactive service to ensure customers have an outstanding experience. Key tasks include acting as a concierge by managing onsite logistics and delivery records.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Core Responsibilities
- Welcome all facility visitors promptly with courtesy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with national internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Provide precise advice on service requests and incident inquiries.
- Answer telephone calls from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in coordinating events and activities within the facility.
- Conduct visitor site inductions in cooperation with Facilities team and maintain induction documentation.
- Audit critical facility stock levels and replenish as necessary.
- Communicate promptly and kindly with customers via in-person, phone, email, and ticketing tools.
- Execute customer requests using various internal systems and escalate issues to appropriate support groups when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven customer service expertise spanning at least two years, preferably in service desk, call center, or concierge settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills accompanied by excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Professional, well-groomed presence coupled with efficient work habits.
- Capability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented work style.
- Competent with computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.
- High accuracy and methodical attention to detail.
- Australian citizenship is mandatory due to security clearance requirements; eligibility for NV1 clearance is essential.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in ticketing or service management systems is an advantage.
