About the Department
The Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) is actively seeking multiple temporary full-time Customer Service Advisors for relief periods of up to 12 months. Primary Responsibilities
- Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of procedures, processes, and services to competently handle service interactions across multiple customer channels such as phone, online, and face-to-face communications.
- Provide government-related services including licensing, registration, deceased estate processing, vessel registration, and other customer service functions via various communication methods to help customers efficiently complete their requests.
- Evaluate customer requirements and provide accurate information or redirect them to the most suitable service channel, including specialized staff and locations when necessary.
- Efficiently navigate various systems and databases to carry out operational and administrative duties that support streamlined service delivery—for example, collecting and remitting payments, balancing banking records, and daily transaction reconciliation.
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting to accomplish key performance goals, participate in team activities, and support overall team objectives. When required, provide training and mentoring to other customer service personnel and trainees in areas such as customer service, system usage, and product knowledge.
