Custodian

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities

This role involves performing cleaning and upkeep duties in commercial, residential, or industrial facilities to create and maintain a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment. The custodian may operate independently or collaboratively to execute a range of cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitization, alongside upkeep of associated equipment and materials.

Operational Duties

• Carry out assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and ensure they are completed as scheduled.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders for cleaning supplies as necessary.

Compliance and Reporting

• Adhere to established facility maintenance guidelines and standards.

Working Conditions

• Perform duties within office and facility environments; may require work beyond regular business hours to maintain coverage.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting cleaning equipment and supplies and remaining on feet for long durations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must have MRPT Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Possess between one and four years of supervisory experience in custodial services.
