By joining PM Group and its clients, you will engage with prominent projects both in Ireland and internationally, benefiting from excellent employee advantages and long-duration roles.

Role Summary

We seek a CSA Supervisor/Superintendent to enhance our dynamic OTS team on a client location. This role entails overseeing day-to-day coordination of construction-related activities across a range of capital projects. Your responsibilities will ensure that all CSA operations are carried out safely, timely, budget-compliantly, and strictly follow GMP, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and quality standards. Acting within the Capital Projects team, you will bridge communications between the client, engineering, construction management, contractors, and quality assurance teams to guarantee first-time compliant facility delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all onsite CSA construction tasks, including foundations, steel structures, concrete work, interior finishes, cleanroom elements, and external site work
  • Make certain that all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines
  • Oversee contractor outputs and productivity, addressing issues before they escalate
  • Enforce strict compliance with EHS policies, site safety procedures, and client safety regulations
  • Participate actively in toolbox talks, site safety inspections, and investigations of any incidents
  • Ensure that construction operations meet pharmaceutical GMP and site-specific quality mandates
  • Facilitate implementation of the Quality Management System as it pertains to CSA activities
  • Review and administer Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, risk assessments, and work permits
  • Coordinate inspections, snagging, and timely resolution of punch lists
  • Ensure accurate and prompt preparation of as-built documentation and construction records
  • Align CSA construction efforts with MEP, process, utilities, and commissioning groups
  • Identify potential risks impacting schedule or construction feasibility and develop measures to mitigate them
  • Support short-term tactical planning and upcoming schedule forecasts
  • Serve as the main onsite liaison for CSA contractors
  • Attend and contribute in daily coordination and project progress meetings
  • Work closely with Design, Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV), Quality Assurance, and Operations teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years in supervisory roles managing CSA works on large industrial or pharmaceutical projects
  • Demonstrated track record within regulated GMP settings such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences sectors
  • Strong proficiency interpreting construction drawings, project specifications, and scheduling
  • Thorough knowledge of construction site EHS protocols
  • Experience executing projects within active pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
  • Competency in cleanroom construction techniques and finishes
  • Prior engagement with EPCM or PMC organizations during project execution
  • Familiarity with construction delivery processes aligned with CQV requirements
  • Proven leadership and effective communication capabilities
  • Exceptional detail orientation with a relentless focus on quality
  • Capability to coordinate multiple contractors and balance priorities simultaneously
