- Manage cryptocurrency payments workflow, including transfers, wallet management, exchanges, and payment providers according to established security and authorization protocols.
- Ensure blockchain transactions are monitored for accuracy and processed timely with reconciliation of deposits, withdrawals, wallet, and exchange balances against fiat settlement records.
- Conduct pre-transfer validations including recipient/address verification, selecting appropriate networks and tokens, fee assessments, transaction limits, and compliance with approval processes.
- Maintain comprehensive transaction logs, wallet registers, treasury reports, and documentation that support audit readiness.
- Investigate and resolve delayed, erroneous, disputed, or suspicious transactions and document these interventions.

- Support treasury operations by managing crypto liquidity tailored for operational payments, contractors, suppliers, and emergency needs.
- Help sustain wallet architecture separating funds by use-case such as treasury, operational liquidity, payroll, customer payouts, and experimental exposure.
- Oversee wallet security protocols including key management, access controls, backup, recovery, incident response, and conduct periodic testing.
- Stay involved with custody models including cold storage, institutional custody, multi-signature/MPC wallets, exchange accounts, and siloed operational wallets.
- Monitor exposures related to asset volatility, stablecoins, counterparties, network congestion, and liquidity limitations.
- Engage in wallet permission reviews, access audits, control assessments, and incident response drills.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, legal, compliance, product, and management teams on crypto compliance and related initiatives.
- Assist with AML/CFT, KYC/KYB processes, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring (KYT), Travel Rule compliance, recordkeeping, and related escalation procedures.
- Use blockchain explorers and analytics tools to monitor transactions and escalate suspicious or high-risk activities per company policy.
- Maintain confidentiality around company balances, counterparties, transactions, commercial arrangements, and control protocols.
- Continuously research DeFi and Web3 advancements relevant to payments, partnerships, treasury, products, and business growth.
- Evaluate DeFi protocols including DEXs, lending platforms, staking, bridges, and layer-2 solutions for opportunities and risks.
- Assess Web3 infrastructure elements such as wallet connection flows, payment APIs, RPC providers, blockchain data tools, and smart contract integration.
- Identify and propose innovations involving crypto, stablecoins, DeFi, and Web3 that optimize payment conversion, cut costs, increase user retention, build partnerships, or drive revenue.
- Analyze crypto-payment funnels to diagnose friction points and recommend process enhancements.
- Develop business cases evaluating commercial impact, costs, risk, compliance, customer experience, and key performance indicators.
- Conduct pilot projects with cross-functional teams and advise on scaling, modification, or termination.
- Prepare detailed reporting on crypto user acquisition, payment success, fees, withdrawal performance, retention, revenue contribution, and exceptions.
Candidate Requirements
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Bitcoin, blockchain fundamentals, crypto markets, wallets, exchanges, transaction fees, blockchain explorers, and typical crypto payment flows.
- Experience in crypto payments, wallet or exchange operations, digital asset treasury functions, reconciliation, fintech, payments, blockchain, iGaming, or equivalent financial operational roles.
- Understanding of major blockchain networks, confirmation mechanisms, network congestion challenges, address formatting, failure modes, and stablecoins.
- Expertise in wallet security practices, including hot and cold storage, multi-signature setups, MPC and custody procedures, access controls, address allowlisting, private key management, and recovery processes.
- Adept at interpreting operational/market data to detect significant trends and prepare clear, actionable reports and recommendations.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, documentation capabilities, and excellent communication.
- High integrity, discretion, calmness under pressure, and focus on accuracy especially in time-critical or high-value situations.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Advanced skills with Excel or Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL, Python, BI dashboards, payment analytics, or API-based reporting considered a plus.
- Independent work capability in remote environments with reliable communication across global teams and differing time zones.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Yerevan for periodic face-to-face meetings when needed.
- In-depth knowledge of DeFi concepts such as DEXs, AMMs, lending/borrowing mechanisms, staking, governance, tokenomics, and collateral/liquidation processes.
- Familiarity with Web3 self-custodial wallets, wallet connection workflows, RPC providers, token standards, decentralized applications (dApps), smart contract interactions, and on-chain data.
- Understanding of smart contract and on-chain risks including phishing, scams, exploited frontends, oracle manipulation, bridge and governance attacks, liquidity risks, and stablecoin instability.
- Able to verify networks, token contracts, transactions, identify token approvals, and escalate issues when necessary.
Desirable Extras
- Experience working with OTC desks, custody providers, wallet infrastructure, payment orchestration platforms, exchange APIs, treasury tools, or blockchain analytics/KYT solutions.
- Familiarity with USDT and USDC settlements across multiple blockchains such as Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Bitcoin, among others.
- Professional exposure to DEXs, liquidity pools, lending protocols, staking platforms, bridges, and Web3 wallets.
- Understanding of EVM-compatible chains, Solana, smart-contract risk evaluation, DeFi due diligence, on-chain analytics, APIs, RPC, webhooks, and event indexing.
- Knowledge of Armenian and/or Russian languages advantageous.
Security, Compliance and Operational Guidelines
- Adhere strictly to wallet access controls, transaction preparation and approval workflows, allowlisting, and detailed recordkeeping.
- Avoid connecting company wallets to any unapproved dApps, browser extensions, websites, smart contracts, networks, or service providers.
- Require thorough verification of domain, network, contract addresses, actions, and internal authorizations before signing any transactions, messages, permits, or wallet connection requests.
- Exercise heightened caution and escalate all unlimited token approvals, unverified contracts, unknown bridges, liquidity pools, and unaudited smart contracts as potential risks.
- Ensure that all material digital asset and partnership initiatives have received proper internal approval prior to launch.
- This role excludes any unapproved trading, misleading investment claims, market manipulation, or bypassing regulatory responsibilities including responsible gaming, AML, KYC, sanctions and consumer protection laws.
- Focus remains on secure, transparent, compliant, and sustainable commercial development rather than speculative or short-term volume growth.
