Role Overview
As a Crew Member at Chipotle, you will join a team dedicated to providing a superior dining and work experience. The role involves preparing fresh food by hand without the use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers. Training is provided across various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. Regardless of prior experience—whether as a dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, prep cook, or none at all—Chipotle welcomes enthusiastic and passionate individuals ready to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an inviting and positive atmosphere for customers and teammates through excellent customer service.
- Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items by hand following company guidelines.
- Operate various restaurant stations such as grill, cashier, salsa, prep, and expo effectively.
- Participate fully in the training programs to build confidence and skills across different roles.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
- Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for assisting customers and collaborating with team members.
- Willingness and eagerness to learn extensive cooking and preparation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the workplace.
