Role Overview
This hands-on position involves leading the installation, operation, and dismantling of advanced AV systems. You will oversee events ranging from small corporate gatherings to large-scale productions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Lead and manage audio, lighting, and video system setups for live events.
- Collaborate closely with clients, venue personnel, freelancers, and in-house teams to deliver flawless productions.
- Mentor junior staff and lead crews effectively.
- Adapt to after-hours work, weekends, and occasional travel demands.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience in live event audio, lighting, and video system setup.
- Technical proficiency with Barco PDS and S3 switching systems, Yamaha QL and CL audio consoles, and GrandMA lighting control systems; programming skills are highly valued.
- Experience with hybrid and virtual event production.
- Camera operation abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of scenic setups including drapes, stage skirts, and truss borders.
- Excellent client communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and composure under pressure.
- Professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
- Holding a Rigger’s Ticket is highly desirable.
