About the Role
Quirk Bank collaborates with businesses expanding into global markets, focusing on branding, marketing, content, and sales with an emphasis on aesthetic and communication quality. We seek a Creative Video Editor who goes beyond basic editing skills, someone with a refined sense of taste and understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, sound, and design.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit video content for our brands, clients, and internal media.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, contributing to content planning and discussions.
- Translate ideas, scripts, references, and raw footage into polished final videos.
- Exercise creative decisions on visual treatment, pacing, typography, motion, sound design, and transitions.
- Ensure edits reflect the unique voice of each brand, balancing premium feel without over-design.
- Bring your own creative judgment to improve edits beyond mere execution of instructions.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
- Strong sense of visual taste and attention to subtle details.
- Understanding of branding and ability to translate brand voice into video content.
- Consumption and appreciation of high-quality, premium creative content and its elements.
- Confidence in expressing opinions about creative work and openness to feedback.
- Curiosity, experimentation, and commitment to quality rather than just completion.
- Emphasis on thoughtful editing decisions and storytelling over mechanical execution.
Compensation and Application Details
This is a full-time remote position offering a monthly compensation of ₹35,000. Applicants should email aryan@quirkbankmedia.com with 2–3 video edits they are genuinely proud of, accompanied by a brief description of their editing style and key editing priorities.
