Crane Operator

About the Role

A prominent multinational company specializing in mechanical construction, heavy equipment, and crane services is seeking skilled Crane Operators to strengthen their operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform routine pre-start inspections of cranes daily, checking components such as the boom lubrication, hydraulic oil levels, and coolant.
• Examine lift plans, risk assessments, lifting procedures, manufacturer manuals, and load charts thoroughly before commencing any lifting operation.
• Operate cranes strictly within manufacturer-specified load capacities and in compliance with company and client safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with rigging personnel and site teams, ensure the safety zones around lifts are barricaded, and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of crane equipment and actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess 7 to 10 years of experience as a crane operator, with a minimum of 5 years operating All Terrain (AT) or Rough Terrain (RT) cranes up to 160 tons within the GCC region.
• Proficient in operating Tadano, Liebherr, or Terex AT/RT cranes ranging from 80 to 250 tons; experience with Sany crawler cranes between 800 and 1,250 tons is advantageous.
• Hold or have held valid third-party certification specific to the crane type operated, including expired ones.
• Able to comprehend and communicate in English and have completed at least secondary education.
• Possession of a Saudi crane operator license and Aramco certification is highly desirable, even if expired.
