Job Overview
Hazelwick School in West Sussex is seeking full-time Cover Supervisors to join their dedicated team. The position offers a salary of A324,066 annually, inclusive of a Fringe Area Allowance, with a pending pay award. Hours run from 8:00 AM to 3:05 PM during term time plus inset days. Immediate start is preferred.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage classrooms in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring an environment conducive to effective learning.
- Assist and support students as needed during supervised sessions.
- Potentially serve as a Form Tutor, help with administrative duties, and provide support across various school departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an educational or youth-focused environment is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications and experience with students aged 11-16 are preferred.
- Proficient IT skills, especially familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, alongside solid literacy and numeracy competencies.
