Country General Manager

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

The Country General Manager will hold full accountability for iColo’s business outcomes, overseeing P&L, strategic implementation and operational management while ensuring consistency with the company’s broader strategy and stakeholders' goals.

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic guidance for country-specific operations of iColo.
• Manage business financials and operational effectiveness to meet targets.
• Lead initiatives to grow the company and expand its presence.
• Drive revenue increases, excellence in operations, and profitability enhancements.
• Ensure local business activities align seamlessly with Digital Realty/iColo’s overarching strategies.
• Foster leadership across various departments and promote strong interdepartmental cooperation.
• Maintain productive relationships with customers, partners, regulators, and shareholders.
• Oversee personnel management, succession planning, and enhance organizational efficiency.
• Supervise risk management, governance frameworks, compliance, and control operations.
• Serve as the external representative and public face of iColo within the market.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
• Perform any additional duties relevant to the position’s scope.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Technology, Commerce, or a related field is required.
• At least 12 to 15 years of advancing leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years serving in senior executive roles such as country leader, business unit head, or general management.
• Proven experience managing profit and loss responsibilities.
• Established success in driving business growth, optimizing operational performance, and leading organizations.
• Experience engaging directly with senior customers, regulators, and executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes

• Possession of an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualifications.
• Background in data centers, telecommunications, technology infrastructure, cloud services, digital infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or allied industries.
• Experience working in multinational or matrix-style organizations.
• Track record of leading transformative business initiatives and fostering organizational expansion.
