Role Overview
As a Counsellor, you will provide comprehensive academic and career guidance to students, support their personal development, collaborate with families and educational staff, and assist with administrative duties related to student progress and admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students in selecting suitable academic courses, establish learning objectives, and enhance effective study methods.
- Conduct aptitude assessments, explore career pathways, and align students' strengths with potential professions.
- Provide emotional support by addressing student concerns, offering coping mechanisms for stress or peer pressure, and managing crisis situations.
- Engage with parents, teachers, and school administrators to devise intervention strategies for students facing difficulties.
- Keep thorough, confidential records regarding student achievements, assessment outcomes, and counseling interactions.
- Assist students throughout the college admissions process, including application guidance, financial aid counseling, and connecting to external resources.
Opportunities and Benefits
A monthly remuneration between 15,000 to 34,000 INR is offered for this position.
