Role Overview
Join a prominent German multinational corporation specializing in heavy machine manufacturing as a Costing Engineer focused on EOT cranes, material handling systems, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The position involves creating precise cost calculations that take into account various inputs to support project budgeting and pricing strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain detailed cost estimates incorporating aspects such as labor expenses, raw materials, machinery use, and additional resources.
- Perform post-costing assessments by examining actual versus planned expenses using historic and cost data to refine future estimations.
- Stay informed about the latest industry methodologies and approaches in cost estimation to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Compute profit margins for all deliveries and communicate findings to the management team.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations for spare parts and specially engineered projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational qualification with a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Production and Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
