Job description

Position Overview

As a Corridor Access Requests Coordinator based in Auckland, you will facilitate telecommunications projects by managing council permissions and applications required before work can begin in public road corridors. Your role will involve acting as the central connector between councils, clients, and internal delivery teams to ensure approvals are timely and crews are prepared.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate corridor access applications and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Prepare and maintain precise job planning documents and related paperwork.
  • Review council-imposed conditions and communicate these effectively to delivery teams.
  • Keep all internal and external stakeholders informed and updated on progress.
  • Identify potential risks and address or escalate these as appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Outstanding organizational abilities with a capacity to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, conveying information clearly and confidently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in managing documents.
  • Problem-solving aptitude to identify issues and coordinate viable solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate confidently with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset with a readiness to make decisions independently.

Experience in working with councils, regulatory bodies, utilities, telecommunications, civil construction, or infrastructure projects is advantageous. Familiarity with road corridor regulations, temporary traffic management, and utility reinstatement would also be beneficial.
