Role Overview
We seek an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our expanding tax team in Scotland. This position involves handling corporate tax matters for a variety of business clients and supporting Directors and Partners in their client-related work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare corporate tax returns and associated computations.
- Advise clients on their corporate tax liabilities and payment schedules.
- Deliver outstanding client service and maintain consistent communication with client teams.
- Stay abreast of technical developments within the corporate tax sphere.
- Manage budgeting and monitor compliance fees effectively.
- Ensure adherence to institute and HMRC guidelines in departmental procedures.
- Meet departmental key performance indicators concerning billing and fee recovery.
Personal Development
- Participate in ongoing learning through reading, meetings, seminars, and courses.
- Demonstrate awareness of other firm departments to promote internal cross-referrals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess relevant corporate tax experience within professional accountancy or industry settings.
- Be a skilled tax adviser capable of managing complex client work.
- Exhibit strong IT competency.
- Hold or be working towards professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or ATT.
