Role Overview
As a Corporate Sales Development Representative for the DACH region, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing the sales funnel. This role is a perfect entry point into enterprise sales within the SaaS technology space, focusing on qualifying leads to generate new business opportunities for Staffbase.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess incoming leads from various channels such as content downloads, demo requests, and webinar sign-ups to qualify potential sales opportunities.
- Implement targeted outbound campaigns to uncover new business prospects.
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to engage with organizations and comprehend their priority needs.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to develop a consistent and sustainable pipeline.
- Employ sales skills to arrange qualified meetings with prospective clients.
- Continuously update product knowledge to deliver insightful introductions to future customers.
- Innovate and refine prospecting methods to enhance effectiveness and provide feedback to Sales Management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency in German and English (C1 or higher), including the ability to engage in executive-level business discussions in both languages.
- A university degree or formal training in business administration, economics, communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience in telephone communication roles such as recruitment, customer service, or sales development is advantageous.
- Genuine interest in internal and external communication topics.
- Aspirations to build a sales career in the SaaS technology sector.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and effective time management.
- A collaborative team player enthusiastic about shared successes.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency in daily sales tasks.
