Cooler Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a proficient Cooler Technician to become a part of our Marketing Equipment Team. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of cooling equipment to maximize their performance and operational efficiency. The technician will carry out regular inspections, diagnose problems, and provide technical support at client locations while liaising with internal sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and test cooling systems to meet optimal operational standards.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, cleaning, and routine inspections to avoid equipment failures.
• Promptly diagnose and repair issues to restore equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and offer high-quality technical assistance onsite.
• Continuously monitor equipment operation to ensure safety and efficiency across various sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational qualification: Diploma in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in refrigeration system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Required certifications: Valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certification.
• Key skills: Technical problem-solving, preventive maintenance, effective communication, and sound judgment.
• Work demands: Willingness to travel for fieldwork within different locations, ability to work under pressure, and maintaining a professional appearance.
