About the Role

The successful applicant will be a certified accountant possessing robust expertise in US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards. The role demands a proactive controller who is comfortable overseeing month-end close processes for multiple entities and collaborating with local management teams to harmonize financial practices following acquisitions and organizational growth.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Professional accounting certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • At least a decade of experience in accounting or controllership roles; previous employment with a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous.
  • Proven proficiency in US GAAP or IFRS financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-entity close operations.
  • Practical knowledge in M&A integration or ERP system transitions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to personnel without financial backgrounds.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and own the month-end close and financial reporting processes across multiple entities.

  • Assist with purchase price allocation, tracking earn-outs, and addressing technical accounting issues.
  • Serve as the principal auditor liaison during statutory and group audits.
  • Enhance local financial processes and internal controls to align with group standards, including compliance with SOX where applicable.
  • Coach and develop finance teams locally to improve the speed and accuracy of financial closings.
