Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Control-M Solution Architect to spearhead the design and execution of a comprehensive transformation program involving BMC Control-M Workload Automation and Managed File Transfer (MFT). This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand, with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end solutions for Control-M and Managed File Transfer environments.
• Evaluate current Control-M setups and define future state architectural frameworks.
• Design enterprise-level file transfer solutions leveraging protocols such as SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTPS, and AWS S3.
• Lead initiatives focused on workload migration, automation, and the modernization of systems.
• Implement Workload-as-Code methodologies using tools like Control-M Automation API, JSON, Python, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Offer technical guidance and leadership to DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expertise in BMC Control-M architecture and its implementation.
• Deep knowledge of Control-M Managed File Transfer components.
• Experience with Control-M Agents and orchestrating workloads.
• Proficient in Control-M Automation API usage.
• Hands-on experience with SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTPS, and S3 protocols and services.
• Comfortable working across Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Skilled in Git-based version control and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment workflows.
• Demonstrated capability in managing large-scale migration and modernization projects.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder communication and management.
