Role Overview
We seek a committed FinOps Analyst on a contract basis starting immediately through to July 31, 2027, with potential for extension. This onsite role is based in Auckland and focuses on advancing our Apptio Technology Business Management (TBM) platform and establishing a new FinOps capability within Fonterra.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and continuously configure the Apptio TBM platform.
- Develop and maintain cost models, allocation methods, reports, and dashboards.
- Analyze technology and cloud expenditure to uncover trends and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to enhance cost transparency and strengthen financial accountability.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will be inquisitive, analytical, and commercially astute, with a passion for interpreting complex data to deliver impactful business insights. The ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a dynamic environment is essential.
Required Experience and Skills
- Direct hands-on experience with Apptio TBM platform is mandatory.
- Background supporting TBM, FinOps, or Technology Finance initiatives.
- Strong analytical abilities to convert data into actionable strategies.
- Capable of engaging effectively with varied stakeholder groups.
- Proactive and delivery-oriented mindset with a readiness to engage hands-on.
